Valentine's Day Banquet an Overwhelming Success in Milaca
Milaca Elim Care and Rehab Center would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who attended the 2010 Valentine’s Day Banquet held on Friday, February 12th. Through the generosity of many, over $6,300 was raised at the banquet, enough to reach—and exceed—the $60,000 goal of the campaign for a new handicapped accessible bus for the residents of Elim Care and Country Meadows. “The generosity of this community is just amazing,” stated Elim Care and Rehab Center’s interim administrator Laura Broberg. “We are so blessed.”
Residents should be cruising around town in their new bus by early May, just in time to enjoy the spring sunshine. The new 15 passenger bus will be replacing a 20-year old vehicle that had been in use at the Elim campus until last December.
